This funny-lookin' root is actually one of the healthiest spices on the planet, especially fresh and raw.  Filled with antioxidants, it's incredibly effective against muscle inflammation, nausea, and has been used for a wide variety of medicinal purposes for centuries.   With an explosive bite, fresh ginger is a wonderful additive to soups, teas, stirfries and more!  

We work with amazing small local farmers and the seasons! We have loads of delicious fruits and veggies, but some more exotic items just don't grow here. For those special few, we have to look outside of California. This is certified organic but not local.
